Project Anapra Stationary Clinic

Project Anapra is a community based humane reform program CWOB spearheaded recently in a very impoverished town along the Mexico-US border, {for a complete overview click here}.

The project, which consists of improving companion animal welfare through access to free vaccination, deworming, and medical care and controlling the overpopulation via sterilization, is off to a great start.

Just last month we began retrofitting an old convenience store in the heart of the area to become our free sterilization clinic. The location will also be the base for our free wellness clinics and will also serve as a resource for families to come to pick up free food for their animals.

For us, being able to provide these services in this region of Mexico is a dream come true. This area is currently home to thousands of animals who reproduce uncontrollably, die of preventable disease everyday or starve to death on the streets. Project Anapra promises to change all of that through concentrated, focused efforts.
