Another Lucky 13: Latest group of Mexican Rescue Dogs Arrives Safely!
On May 6th, the latest group of Meximutts headed north from Juarez to California. Thanks to the generosity of volunteer pilot Dennis Polito, the dogs flew across the 1,200 mile journey in first class style on his private plane with CWOB cofounder Moncho Camblor.
These dogs, like all of the dogs CWOB rescues from Mexico, come from harrowing backgrounds on the streets of Mexico and have all undergone a voluntary quarantine period (thanks to local Juarez group APRODEA) wherein they are sterilized, vaccinated, dewormed, and given loads of TLC while preparing for their big trip north to California to be adopted out.
Every time we bring up a batch, we are genuinely touched by the spirit of each and every dog and absolutely grateful for the opportunity to help them along their journey to the lives they so deserve.
This latest group was as adorable as any and filled to the brim with some of the sweetest, most adorable, deserving little Meximutts we have ever met. Check them out!
