WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH A MILLION DOLLARS?
We know what we would do – eradicate animal suffering South of the Border! For a grassroots group like Compassion without Borders , operating on 100% volunteer labor with essentially no overhead costs, our dreams and vision to stop animal suffering are only limited by financial constraints.
The thought of a million dollar bounty for most people sparks fantasies about luxury cars, huge mansions, trips around the world, fancy cloths, fine jewelry and other high ticket items.
Not so for those of us at Compassion without Borders.
When we indulge ourselves with dreams about unlimited funds, we fantasize about launching innovative programs like Project Anapra. , a multifaceted project that aims to bring about reform and true change for the animals in one of Mexico’s most impoverished regions. This program would not only help thousands of needy animals in this region, but could also serve as a model program for sustainable solutions to companion animal overpopulation and suffering in developing nations worldwide.
We daydream about massive humane education campaigns, country wide spay and neuter projects, groundbreaking national humane euthanasia reform and large scale rescue programs that would save thousands upon thousands of innocent lives.
For it is our dream and ability to envision these solutions that has allowed us to come so far on so little and it is that same creative, dedicated aspect of who we are that will allow us to continue to bring about revolutionary change for the animals of Mexico.
Our million dollar jackpot may not be around the corner, but every small donation counts and a little goes a very long way. Please take a look at our wish list and let us know if you can help to fill our pot of gold, a little bit at a time.
