Fifteen More Meximutts Migrate Northward
We just got back with the latest group of rescue dogs and all 15 are now safe and sound in northern California. We loaded up the meximutts in Juarez and began our two day road trip across the deserts and valleys between there and here. The dogs enjoyed potty breaks every two to three hours as we rotated out different dogs out of their travel crates to sit on our laps for each leg of the trip.
As always, by the end of the journey we became very bonded to each one and grateful beyond belief that we were able to save their lives.
Allow us to introduce you to some of the latest gang:

Little (Now named Fupi)

This one eyed cutie was found by the side of the freeway in Mexico, injured and frightened. Although he did lose an eye as a result of his injuries, he has since gained a passport to a new life! Fupi was rescued by local folks in Mexico and nursed back to health and immediately adopted out to a Compassion without Borders supporter who spied him on our website and fell instantly in love.

Lucas

This dog was so cute he was difficult to handle! All we wanted to do was smother him in cases and gaze into his unbelievably gorgeous deep brown eyes. His personality was a perfect blend of mischief mixed with sincere affection. Too darn cute for words.

Quick

Quick was a little hesitant at first, but quickly warmed to us and was soon the lead copilot in our adventure up north. She never left our lap and was always ready to give us a sweet kiss on the face or reassuring tail wag to let us know she was enjoying the road trip. |
|
Fermin

This little cutie got a new haircut and fancy bandana for his new life in the states!

Salo
Self assured, affectionate, and absolutely adorable – what more could you ask for?

Angie
Little. Stout. Wirey haired bliss. This Mexican cutie had us charmed within moments of our introduction and continued to amaze us with her gentle demeanour and joyful presence.

|
Toby

Refined, yet silly. Playful, yet cuddly. Toby was simply irresistible.
|
|
Bibis

“Pick me! Pick me ! Pick me! Pick me!” A very charming, but slightly self absorbed little bugger - Bibis never once stopped making it clear to us that she definitely wanted attention and felt she deserved to find her forever home first of all!

|
Eva

Eva is as sweet as dogs come. Not a mean bone in her cute little body. Always eager to cuddle or make new friends, this sweet dog is the reason we do what we do.

|
Sunny
True to his name, this little ray of sunshine was as good natured as they come
